What a WEEKEND! Whew!!! =)

Look at all of these treasures!!! On Saturday, Meggan, Ash and I all went to the "Heritage Hill" garage sales. Heritage Hill Homes are in the heart of Grand Rapids and were all built at the turn of the century. Over the years they have been bought/sold and restored, and some of them are just gorgeous! I found lots of pretties that day. On Sunday I went to the Ann Arbor Antique Market to help out a friend with her booth (check out her pretties at "ShabbySeller" on ebay) and found a several more treasures, and she gave me a few more! I had a great weekend (except for the migraine (I had never had one before and hopefully never do again!) Sunday that I thought was going to be the death of me...). Some of the pretties in the photo I am keeping, but most of them will end up on ebay. I'm hoping to get a few listed this week. Click on the photo to enlarge it and you will be able to see all of my treasures a little bit better.

Sounds like you had a great day of treasure finding. I had a migraine once and I thought I was going to die too. It is so awful.
I hope you feel better. I get a lot of headaches but that one was the worst.
Take care,
Rosemary

Hi Debbie
Thanks so much for your wishes for Sam. I saw him today, he is doing great, but poor Shannon is worn out (no sleep). He will come home tomorrow. He little leg is plastered from toes to groin, but he was very brave.
Love all your goodies, isn't it great when you have such good finds.
Don't forget to pop over to Sue's blog (Shabby Transitions), she's a good friend and lovely lady.

Debbie, I had to leave another comment. I just read that you love LaVyrle Spencer's books. So do I!! I found her by accident, I'm not usually into romances, but such a great writer. I have most of her books now.

I have been to Ann Arbor many times. Greenfield Village was a place daddy loved to take us when we were grown up kids. Happy memories!

Sounds like you had a great day!

I find my best bargains at car boot sales, but because this is an outdoor affair and its been raining for ages I have missed out on a few. I'm missing the rush of a treasure:(

Please some one up there, let the sun come out on Sunday:)

best wishes Ginny

I love your site, very pretty things, the only problem, the text is so light it is hard to read.
Your little bundle of joy is absolutely beautiful. Good luck hunting. I grew up in MI, near Pine Knob in Clarkston but never made it to Ann Arbor. I now live in Seattle.
